Why I decided the end of year was best to start something new!
So… 32 Days to go till the end of 2016. The air is full of expectation of a new me, a new you, a new challenge, a new journey, a new adventure, a new life lesson…a New Good Year.
I always believed that you are never to old to learn anything or at least that’s what the Sister at my old high school drilled in us. Right now, her voice is shockingly clear in my mind as I type this post. Que in the Sun shining through the Glass window to my office, it’s like Nature’s conspiracy or maybe it’s my obsession in searching for signs.
Signs.. Now that’s another topic for another discussion, right now I want to talk about our world today and maybe just maybe give some sort of explanation to why it world the way it does. The more I read about people and what is portrayed in the media, the more I question the reality of it all. So these posts will be about thoughts, people and my view of the world.
What prompted me write today? It’s my Mum’s birthday, I seem to do a lot of questionable things for on her Birthday, like getting my first Tattoo, getting high on sweets/chocolates, doing something impulsive. but then I have always been the oddball of the family, a fact I take pride in.
So here come’s the point of this post and what you can take from it! Imagine the Drum rolls..3…2…1 Now!
If you want to try something new, give it a go, do it now! it’s better to learn rather fear the unknown
You’ve been thinking about doing your own thing? Do it! you never know until you try of course. But first, know this, whatever you do try not hurt others or yourself. Think before you leap.
I want to keep my first post short, for if I write I could go on at a stretch.
A note from 2026:
I wrote this in November 2016 as the first post on a blog I eventually forgot existed. Nearly ten years later, I found it again—after publishing my first book and deciding to build A Life of Side Quests. It turns out that sometimes a beginning waits quietly for you to return.
